Q: Which operating system does the BeoPlay App supports?
A: BeoPlay App supports both iOS (version 8 or later) and Android (version 5.x or later). The Android version will be available during Spring 2016.


Q: I have problem setting up Wireless Stereo Pairing?
A: For best Wireless Stereo Pairing performance, it is advisable that you place the 2 speakers within 3 meters range (to get an optimum performance). Wireless Stereo Pairing might be affected in "RF noisy (2.4GHz)" environment. If this happens, you can move the speakers out of this 'RF noisy' environment during pairing process.

In Wireless Stereo Pairing mode, when your phone gets out of range, it will disconnect the two speakers. You will need to reconnect when back in range.
For Wireless Stereo Pairing you only need to pair to one of the speakers in your Bluetooth settings. For second speaker, you will then pair via the app.


Q: What are the features offered by BeoPlay App?
A: You can personalize your music experience with ToneTouch, quickly setup two identical speakers together and get notified about the latest software update


Q: ToneTouch and Wireless Stereo Pairing is not working?
A: Please make sure that you have the latest software in your product: http://www.beoplay.com/support


Q: Why can’t I find the product in my Bluetooth connection list on my smartphone?
A: If you have renamed the product via the BeoPlay App, you need to connect to the new name (and delete the old name from the Bluetooth connections list in your settings).


Q: Where can I download the BeoPlay App?
A: You can download it from Apple store (or Google Play store from Spring 2016). Check out www.beoplay.com/app for more information


Q: Can I control my music from the BeoPlay App?
A: Yes, if Bluetooth connection is established and you have selected your music source, you can start and stop music via the BeoPlay App. The products will enter in standby mode after 15 minutes without any source selected.


Q: Which products can I operate with the BeoPlay App?
A: With BeoPlay App you can operate BeoPlay A2 and Beolit 15. Please make sure you always update the product with latest software from www.beoplay.com/support.
You need to enable the Bluetooth connection to the specific product in your settings before you can operate it via the BeoPlay App.

Q: Can I use ToneTouch during Wireless Stereo Pairing mode?
A: No, it will not be possible to use ToneTouch when the speakers are in Wireless Stereo Pairing mode.


Q: My speaker stops working when I try to update it using the Software Updater. What can I do?
A: If the speaker has no reaction when you press the buttons, it is likely in the DFU-mode (software update mode). To get the product back to normal mode, you just need to successfully update the software. If the update was interrupted during your first update attempt, just try it again. Plug in the USB cable and start the software update process. If the updater is stuck at the "Assessing device" step you might not be using the correct cable (See What cable should I use?) or there may be a problem with the computer you are using. If possible, we recommend you update the software using another computer.


Q: What cable should I use?
A: For the BeoPlay A2 and BeoLit 15 you should use a mini-USB cable (the same kind of cable used for many digital cameras). For other products you should use a micro-USB cable (the same kind of cable used for many Android smartphones). Some cables do not have the necessary data wires and can only be used for charging. If the software update gets stuck at the "Assessing device" step you may have such a cable. You should instead get a cable that supports data transfer.
